You may recall that the team got to this space port in Uganda via unconventional means.

And while the words from the letter are nice and all, but when even the most timid member of the team is swearing vengeance, things are beyond reasonable, peaceful contemplation.

That almost reads like a suicide note. :(

I've always been drawn to stories with characters who basically have nothing left but spite. An extreme that characters get pushed to. There's something about a story where you've basically taken someone's hope away, and all they have left, all they can strive for, is to make sure that their enemy remembers them, when they look at the scorched and salted earth beneath their feet.

And I also love stories where the author builds my desire to see it, to see the heroes go down, one middle finger raised to the sky, and then subverts it. I don't know where you're going with this, but you've got my attention. So many strings being pulled in different directions under this dynamic.

Despite this letter, I'm sure there is one or two who would like some damn payback. Someone whose grief demands that their enemey feel loss as well. That among all these creepy smiles, and inhuman hive mind, there is a consciousness at work, one that can be hurt.

And then, someone believes this crazy plan can actually work.

Whatever happens, I can't wait to see it.

So she knew she was gonna die. At least this will be a way to make them remember her like she wanted...
Nice work on this page! Lots of emotions in the letter, I can just imagine Alexis writing this...
